I remember the day vividly...
I was 13 and browsing the gaming magazines in WH Smiths when the cover photo of a stunning modernist glass building from an architecture magazine grabbed me and took me straight to the till. That was the day that started my passion for property. Every magazine shopping trip from that day drew another architecture or interior design magazine. Little did I know at the time but that day lead to the start of my career in the property industry. There was something special about great buildings and styles that I loved learning about, but most of all how we all can have different tastes.
My love affair with property took a further step forward when I was fortunate enough to spend a year in Hong Kong during my University studies, where I shared an apartment with a property developer who gave me a real education into the importance of listening to and understanding potential buyers and their property needs.
One key lesson I have learnt during my time in property is that no property is the same. Just as every individual property has its own identity and personality, as does every Buyer and Seller. The real skill is in matching them all up, hence why I provide a bespoke service for my clients as every circumstance is always different. Many Estate Agents treat their job as a 'process'. I believe in the importance of a personal connection between a buyer and the right property, making it their 'right home.
My passion has honed by belief in honesty, integrity and great communication with my Clients whilst my experiences have grown my market knowledge and marketing skills over 24 years in the industry. I have learnt throughout my career that if I put all 5 of these ingredients into my working relationships, I can ensure a long and prosperous relationship with all my Clients.
I do not see a single transaction as the end of the journey but the start or continuation of a trusting working relationship. This is why I want to be every one of my Clients 'Estate Agent for life'.
